Steps to obtain the Real Estate Resident Card in Cuba<\/h3>\n
Below, we leave you with all the detailed procedure to obtain the real estate resident visa in Cuba.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Application for a real estate resident card with the entity that manages the property.<\/p>\n
This application is processed by the foreigner or person without citizenship while in Cuba, or if he\/she is already an owner or tenant. This application must be made to the director of the entity that administers the real estate.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- Written request.<\/li>\n
- Copy of the passport indicating general data of the owner or lessee, as well as of his foreign family if it is required.<\/li>\n
- Stamps.<\/li>\n
- Two passport size photos.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

The cost of the Visa is 2500 Cuban pesos. In turn, the card must be presented at the entity that manages the property during its business hours. After that, you must wait three working days.<\/p>\n

Visa application at the Office of Procedures of the Ministry of Tourism<\/p>\n
When your information as an applicant is verified, the application file is prepared. To do so, you must submit some documents and meet certain requirements.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- Request of the head of the real estate entity.<\/li>\n
- Certification that indicates you as owner or tenant of the property for at least one year, given by the head of the real estate entity.<\/li>\n
- Visa application form.<\/li>\n
- Copy of the Real Estate Resident Visa Application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

This procedure is free of charge and usually takes five working days, as long as the Ministry of Tourism evaluates your case and approves the granting of the Visa. In case you do not comply with the requirements, the file will be returned to you in a period of no more than three days.<\/p>\n

Submit documents to the Directorate of Identification, Immigration and Foreign Affairs<\/p>\n
Once the application is approved, an official assigned by the Ministry of Tourism will present the file at the Office of the Directorate of Identification, Immigration and Foreigners. With this, the Real Estate Resident Visa will be granted.<\/p>\n

After having the change of migratory classification, within three working days you will be contacted by the entity that manages the real estate so that it will give you your identity document.<\/p>\n
Now, if you are a foreigner admitted in Cuba and you have the migratory classification of Real Estate Resident, you have 10 working days from your entry to the country to apply for your identity document.<\/p>\n
